Wow, what a week. So many up's and down's..... Friday made up for the rest of the week though. I go given a kayak recently and I finally got to christen it on Friday.
I was supposed to be pouring concrete with my Dad but due to circumstances beyond our control, it had to be postponed to this Friday So we loaded up the kayaks (Dad has one too) and headed up the beach in his old 4WD. I have never seen so many dolphins!!! I saw at least 30....it was just magic. We went kayaking on the Mermaid Lagoon and then before heading home we kayaked on the surf side of Bribie Island as the waves were very small. It was while we were out on the ocean that a dolphin came up near us.... I was so excited ... and I have so much fun catching the waves into the beach with the kayak.

Got to take the good times with the bad... but thank goodness for the good times
